The pleasantly warm inn has many tables and chairs around the room. A staircase on the left side leads to the second floor, persumably where the boardrooms are. A fire burns on the right of the room. The bartender beckons you and says, "Welcome to The Snow Drift. We have both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks as well as rooms if you need a place to stay."
She points to a sign:
Beer (4 cinii) A common drink throughout Earthia.
Vodka (6 cinii) A favorite of Trabians.
Whisky (8 cinii) Popular for its strength.
Tea (6 cinii) Great for warming up.
Egg cream (5 cinii) A sweet and simple drink.
Basic Room (20 cinii a night) Effectively a bed, table, chair, and a few other basic needs.
Supurb Room (50 cinii a night) A nice room with a large bed with needs and several comforts.

Aether enters the inn and takes a look around. He gives the bartender 24 cinii for a room for the night and a beer. After gulping down the beer, he decides to go up to his room.

Aether's room is very simple and fairly small. A bed is next to the right wall from where he is standing. It's small and has only a feather pillow, but it seems to have some decent blankets. A light sits on a simple wooden table on the left side of the room. There's a fireplace with some wood, but it is unlit. The walls are bare except for a decoration about the fireplace, and the floor has a single rug.

OOC: And why wouldn't there be vineyards in Earthia...? xD And the fact that travel was left up to beasts of burden five hundred years ago didn't stop people from importing and exporting. Other than ships, of course. Which come to think of, could indeed be a source of wine importation, since both Frionia and the Glacier Forge are on the coast.

[Snowy]

Rhesal enters, with an entourage that consisted mostly of drunken beggars and cheap hookers. He stumbled, regained his balance, and somehow made his way to the bar. He couldn't stop rolling his head on his shoulders.

"Hello my good man," Rhesal stumbles upon each word like it is a difficult experience. "My friends and I," Rhesal makes a grand sweeping gesture at his motley crew, "are having ourselves a little celebration, isn't that right Starla?" At this a girl on Rhesal's immediate right giggles. With bags under her eyes and linesi n her face, she looks a little to old for Rhesal, and not to mention giggling. "We are celebrating the occasssssion... the occccasione....the... oh damn it all! DRINKS ON THE HOUSE!"

Rhesal leans close to the barkeep and whispers, "And by 'on the house' I mean you. Get it?" He reached over the bar, grabbed a bottle of whiskey, and knocked down a quarter of it in one swallow. Starla looked impressed, and at the same time doubtful, that seemed like a lot. And she knew a lot about swallowing.

OOC: I couldn't resist XD

[Darkness]

... The dark cloaked man and Nero arrive.

And they announce themselves grandly to Rhesal!

Rhesal already has his hand up in a wave when he sees the cloaked man, but it falls short when he sees who he has with me. "Who is this, Xaeris?"

[Darkness]

"... Nikolaos Nero."

[Snowy]

Rhesal stuck out his hand to shake Nero's, and was greeted with a drawn sword. Rhesal stumbled off of his stool and said, "What treachery is this?!" He got to his feet, drew his Sword of Snow, and prepared for Nero. He was in no shape to be fighting, he was so wobbling and his knees were shaking. "What do you want from me?!" Nero said nothing as he swung his sword at Rhesal. It was a scimitar, and he was very skilled in its use.

Rhesal weakly blocked the blow, and attempted one of his own. Nero shrugged it off without much effort.

In a step and a swift movement, the dark cloaked man was behind Nero, holding the white steel blade to his throat.
