Rhesal nodded at Xaeris, but still kept his sword out. "Xaeris! Who is this assassin that you have brought to me? What were you trying to do?!"

[Darkness]

"... Your note in the white parcel told me to bring him to you."

[Snowy]

"That note was meant to be nothing more than a treasure hunt!" Rhesal thought this last bit of information over, and it took him awhile, as drunk as he was. Finally, he looked at Nero with hate in his eyes. "Who sent you? Answer me swiftly or my sword will met your throat."

Nero looked at the large sword in the King's hands and said, "Rathamel sends his regards." With that, he drew his throwing knife and attempted to take the King's life.

[Darkness]

... The dark cloaked man slit Nero's throat.

[Snowy]

Nero fell to the ground, his carotid artery splurting blood all over the Snow Drift tavern. Rhesal left the Snow Drift without any notice to his entourage, but as he passed Xaeris he said, "Good work. I must go... check on someone." He gave Xaeris a thoughtful look, and then vanished into the wintry night.

[Darkness]

... The dark cloaked man left.

OOC: Thanks guys.
The bartender glared at Rhesal when he and his entourage entered the Snow Drift.
"A drunk with a bunch of whores, lovely," she muttered.
The few Trabians cheered when this odd man offered free drinks, but all but one became quiet when they saw the bartender's expression when he said something to her.
As Rhesal drew his sword, several Trabians reached for their handguns, but they are probably too drunk to actually hit anything with them. However, when Nero attacks Rhesal, several stumble to their feet, and the bartender shouts when the dark cloaked man slits Nero's throat. Unfortantely, both Rhesal and the dark cloaked man leave before the patrons can do anything (OOC: Namely, because you two did this all before I could come online.).
The Trabians do, however, block Rhesal's entourage from exiting. Shortly, several officers and a D-drone come to the Snow Drift and take both the body and the entourage away.

IC: Shortly after the arrests, there is a knock on the door of Aether's room.

Aether groans and gets up. He heard all the commotion and was wondering what the hell was going on down there anyway, but was trying to get some sleep. He opens the door.

The bartender stands in Aether's doorway. She looks bothered, but her voice is even.
She speaks, "Sir, I wanted to check on you. You see, a group of foreigners came into the bar. Then one of them killed another.... and then it was chaos. Anyway, I wanted to make sure my only guest was okay. Er... are you?"

[Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin]

Aether grinned. "I was wondering what was happening down there. Yeah, I'm fine."

The bartender speaks, "Good, good. Uh, let me know if you need anything. Good night."
She leaves to go to her own room.

Aether shuts the door and goes back to bed.

After the outburst in the inn, Aether gets some sleep and leaves in the morning.
