Oh yeah. Be safe. Don't die. Etc.

Seriously dude, don't try any of the stuff I did and try to turn Ike away like I did to Gustav. Stay safe, dawg. We hurricane survivors gotta stick together.

lol

When I wrote that post, I was awake for like... 4 minutes, got a call, and proceeded to freak.

If I'm on later then I'm on later.
Who knows.

Anyway, Res. I have an oscillating fan and a .45 auto. Do you think that's enough to turn away the storm? Or do I need to bring out my box fan?

Edit: Also, the news is retarded. Don't believe them. One station says 12 foot surge, another says 22. No joke.

If you have a .22, you might want to break that out. All I did for Gustav was stand on my roof with my 12 gauge and guinea pig companion Ross and told the storm if it didn't back off, we'd have to make it bite the curb.

.22, .17, and a bolt action 7.92x57mm Kar98

I lack a Guinea pig, and my dog is with my mom in Tennessee.
What about a declawed cat?

Depends on if Ike is allergic. Two options:
1) Try the cat. If Ike is allergic, you've won.
2) Try the cat IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE ANIMAL. And then you win, because you get rid of the cat.

are you all okay? I'm worried because practically half of Galveston island (about 24,000 people) stayed. It was underwater before the hurricane even made landfall..and the whole island is entirely flat

I heard it breached that seawall protecting houston, too

Most of our gas stations here have run out of gas.. It's kinda scary.. If we get any, it's way over 4 dollars.. We must have gotten a lot of it directly from the refineries there (I really hope they're still intact, too, or we're not going anywhere lol..).

Jake will be cool. He's right on par with me when it comes to hurricane readiness. That's an innate sixth sense we have for being from where we're from. Knowing his knowledge of firearms, and ability to be generally badass, there's no worry. But if it'll help your feelings, I'm clapping for him, just to make sure he's okay. :3

Gas stations here have lines backed up for miles down the road. Looking into the sky, you can almost see the rings of the storm pass by every hour or so. Every station closes down at 5 now, and rations gas to 5 gallons per person.

He's fine. I'm talking to him right now.

Squee~ :3

EDIT: Just talked to him. He said he's fine, and TWC is exaggerating a lot of it. He's using a generator to get online, but his town is thrashed, he said. Yards a mess, power and phone lines out, but he's alive. He's not getting 20ft surges, more leik 10. It's not as bad as TWC says it is, but still not too great.

Ohshi= Sorry bout this guys, but West Monroe is having its own problems. We got multiple tornado warnings in a town not 4 miles from where I live. I'm off for now.

Ghod, we trade one villain for another...
Be good guys. keep smilin'.
