Under a shelter in the town square, there is a computerized bulletin board that is divided into two halves. The left half contains messages posted by various citizens.
It reads:

If you want to post a message, simply pull out the keyboard below and type it.

The right half seems to contain only government announcements.
It reads:

We are pleased to announce the creation of a revolutionary machine prototype. We will begin full scale tests on this invention shortly. There should be no noticeable effects, but please report anything odd to Lupus or Osterman in person or in writing. Thank you.
