Get our hopes up, you! ... Or just tell us.

Lol. Awesome. You should definitely post pictures. I just got home from running around town in my SPARTAN suit, and managed to get a picture taken at a buddy's house.

Full body. Finally. Now you have to post pictures, Neraphym. <3

I don't think i left the bleach in long enough. My front, sides, and back (the edges, basically) all didn't get yellow enough. When I did the green dye, it just darkened those areas, but the rest is good. I switched from iguana green to electric lizard to see if that cant make the sides greener. If not, I'll need to bleach the sides and back and dye it with the iguana again.

Ok, so I bought some more bleach from this store that is pissing me off. First, they didn't take returns of something I wasted $15 on. Now I go to buy bleach there and they don't take debit. Never shopping there again, even if I have to go another 15 minutes out of my way for more bleach.

Anywho, I left the bleach in for 50 minutes this time instead of 15. It didn't get the green out, but the areas that were brownish green went to blond. I finished off most of my green dye this time around, hoping I got it right. I left the dye in for like an hour and a half. The longer you leave dye in, and the hotter you have it, the longer it lasts, I hear. I had it covered in tin foil so it didn't dry out and to keep it warm. It turned out great. Here's a low quality webcam picture of it. It's actually a lot brighter and more neon, but this picture doesn't capture it.

Holy crap. Last night proved that this suit was well worth every penny spent on it. My friends hauled me around town in a little red sports car, and we had to assemble a majority of the suit each time we arrived at a destination. First we went to GameStop, then we stopped by my college and I roamed around campus for a while, then we went to a church party that had well over 200 people in attendance.

Gamestop: I was about five feet away from the door, and some guy in the parking lot screams "Hey Chief! I want a picture!" So I turn around, raise my rifle and pose. The road nearby had a redlight, and I saw roughly 6 flashes from camera phones. That was awesome. I walk in the store and the Manager/Asst. Manager just stare and start laughing in disbelief. Without saying a word, I pick up the Wii controller and start smashing my way through the Brawl display. I finish that, and the workers (And three of the customers at the time) ask to get a picture. This was awesome.

Secondly, we went to my school that was having a fundraiser for St. Judes called "Trunk or treat". Students line up cars and give out candy to kids that come by. I had promised my peer leader in class (Teachers aide kinda thing) That I'd be there in the most awesome costume she had ever seen. She was on the farthest end, so I had to walk by 19 other cars before I reached where I was supposed to go.
This suit demands respect.
I was met with cheers, screams, and people begging for photos. It was an absolutely amazing feeling. Not that I was getting such attention (Okay, that has a lot to do with it, but not all), but it proved that it was worth the work and time I put into getting it.

Then we went to a church function. I ran around in a parking lot among other people who parted like the red sea when they saw me. It was a mix of silence from adults, and excitement and absolute disbelief from kids my age/little kids. Yes, many MANY small children were scared of me. Sudden moves around kids is not a good idea, even if your reaching out for a high 5 or handshake. I had roughly 50 pictures taken of me there, and wouldn't doubt it if I show up in the newspaper on Sunday.

I'm going to do this many more times. By far the greatest Halloween of my life.
