I found an error. You misplaced the background for the entire site with a direct link to the Hubble telescopes data transmitters. And this image is so intense it burns through the forum posts.

Probably not an error, but just thought you should know. It's cool one way or the other, so if it is, leave it be.

That's what I was thinking originally (and is the default), but maybe it would be good on every page once we get used to it. This way it's almost like a chat room for everyone on the forums, and it could also be used to get everyone's attention when it comes to events and other important things. Since refreshing and posting to the shoutbox doesn't refresh the entire page, it can also safely be used while posting in a thread.

It can be collapsed, however, and it can stay that way as long as the member is logged in.
