If you accidentally disabled your shoutbox (it's one of the settings), you can now easily get back to it by clicking the Shout Out! link on the left. On that page, you can re-enable the shoutbox if you wish.

Note that you can also collapse the shoutbox if you don't want to get rid of it altogether. Just hit the "-" button in the upper-right corner (its state is saved as long as you're logged in).

i accidentally a whole shoutbox is this bad?
