Go to Target. They have copies of Diablo 2 displayed out in the open. if you're lucky, you can snag the cdkey from the box it's in.

There's really no reason you shouldn't. The cases are open, which makes it accessible.
Don't just try Target. Try WalMart or some other store that may have the game in an open area. If it's in plastic wrap, don't try it.
Just get a camera phone and go for it. Or if you're a quick writer, jot it down. Or call a friend to write it down while you tell them.
There's stealing a game, but then there's using information that's made public. All you're doing it using what's given to you. And apparently, since these stores aren't wise enough to put the cases in secure locations, they ARE giving it to you.
