One of my new favorties is called "Kense"
Basically, it's played like this:
Everybody has a partner. That is a MUST.
The object: To get 4 of a kind
In the beginning, everybody is dealt four cards. You can only have four cards in your hand at one time, and so the point is to switch your cards out to make four of a kind. Once everybody has four cards, four cards are placed on the table face-up.
Now, everybody goes SCRAMBLES. You try to get the cards you want from the table, etc. When nobody wants the cards on the table, four more cards are laid down.
How do you win? get four of a kind, and then it gets tricky. You and your partner must have a pre-determined sign, a "tell" if you will. When you get four of a kind, you make this sign. If you make the sign, your partner must say "KENSE!" for you both to win the round. However, if the other players suspect you of making your "tell," they can say "COUNTER-KENSE!" and then they win!
Obviously if they say C-kense and are wrong, you win and they lose. The opposite goes as well - if your partner says "KENSE" but you do not have four of a kind, then you two lose!
It makes for a hella good time, and you can strategize all you want before hand to be subtle and tricky ;P
This was totally out-dated.
Now it's updated.
I think?
Yeah.
....
Nice.
