I liked it for the Victorian/steampunk atmosphere it brought to my browsing, as well as the your-computer-is-now-your-playground aspect that reminded me of my days spent in Inner Space many years ago.
Anyhoo, it's been growing over the past months, and for awhile had its rules change seemingly every day. Lately it's been much more stable though, despite still being in beta. It's managed to lose enough simplicity that it doesn't instantly become boring, but still remain simple enough that it can truly be played passively. It also has a new name: The Nethernet.
My role in the Nethernet is that of a Vigilante. We are those ironic fools who battle Chaos by being Chaotic ourselves. Why? Well, me, I find it rude when others lay mines and other traps on my favorite sites just to catch innocent travelers off-guard. So I fight back. I have no quarrel with members of the other Associations, but Destroyers just rub me the wrong way.
There's no formal guild system (yet?) but if any of you would like to become my Ally in Chaos, click below.
(Full disclosure: joining via this link gives me in-game benefits. If you already play or you'd prefer joining without the referral, the name's Phieta. Obviously.)
