I'm not submitting this to "SeeD Creativity" because I didn't do it. I actually have the original, more funny version of this but I can't find it so I'll use the published one from last year's yearbook.

*ahem*

Modern Poetry
by ******* ********* (censored)
-------------------------
To drive a yak across America listening to broken 8-tracks is fun, especially at Easter time when all the cute leprechauns are out trick-or-treating. Make seven up mine... Wait, that doesn't make any sense at all, especially at Easter time when all the cute leprechauns are out trick or treating? ... Pineapple! Pineapple? Pineapple. Hey, my brain hurts. Just like when you trip over those drunk leprechauns the day after Easter, when you stub your big toe on your little toe, or even when you have no milk and you have the sudden urge to drink out of the carton! This happens to me a lot, especially around Easter. My brain still hurts... A lot. Knock knock! Who's there? Train station! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Generally that's what happens when you listen to broken 8-tracks driving a yak. It twists your mind into a wrinkled, damp, smelly gym sock. This happens to me a lot. And that, kids, is the beauty of scotch tape. And now I will conclude my voyage with a few words-o-wisdom from my pal Elmer, the male cow; "Paste, it's what's for dinner."

If you can't tell he, like everyone here, is insane. My yearbook reads, "Pete, You are one weird person. That's a good thing in case you were wondering. You stink like hair and chicken. That's also a good thing. I like chicken. Maybe that's why we are friends. You like chicken. Have a great summer / winter / fall / spring. I'm sprung. That's a good thing."

The year before that he put "You've been a good fiend." Yes, I spelled that correctly.

Um the original version of "Modern Poetry" was called the "Crap Rap" and went something like this: "To drive a yak across America and back while listening to an 8-track is, funky. Do you like cheese?, I do. Do you like lobster?, No not me I like church. Make seven... up mine... wait that doesn't make any cents at all... neither does me?" and then something about his grandma I think. Then it was followed by a random saying, different each time he wrote it. Mine (first copy biglaugh.gif ) said "P.S. Get soon well?"

That was more sane than I'd have liked it to be. user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image
