No! I already told grimbold yesterday, I don't have people skills. I hardly know any answers to updates Cspace does and I'm not exactly the first to know about events. . .
I work a lot aswell so even if we do have meetings, I won't be able to organise it.

I have been to one meeting, but the timing wasnt good and I almost had to leave right away. What about that museum place where we had it last time? (Although there are alot of other people who do drop partys there outside of SeeD.) I liked that place. Weekly would be great. We dont have to do it on Runescape, we could do it on SeeD Chat if that is more convienent or whatever. Little get togethers are great. Even though I dont have alot of SeeD Rs names.

Yay! I think we should move the seed meeting place to the most secluded place of all. The very very very eastern part of the edge of the wilderness. Or we can have it upstairs bar of Fally, where everyone goes there first, then changes to the right world so no one can see us

Were meetings being held recently?
If people attended on Saturdays past the ones in June, those weren't official meetings and no one would have known to show up. I posted that they would be postponed until a later date, and if anyone expected people to just show up on Saturdays I'm very sorry. Please don't judge meetings based on any recent ones held, the ones I attended had a very large number of members attend (back when they were happening). We had drop parties, started a freakishly long train, and methinks some went into the wilderness afterwards. This is what meetings were intended to be like, and hopefully will be once they begin happening again.

| I agree with this, every member should be capable of hosting his/her own events (and we rarely turn down events unless we know that they won't work as expected). There are times that a single coordinator (or more than one) would not be able to attend. Maybe if we had members volunteer to host each week's meeting... (just an idea) |
Anyone can. Anyone can have them at anytime, anywhere, doesn't matter, really. They don't exactly have to be like the last "Meeting"... You can always talk about happenings of SeeD, how you can improve something. Ya' know, casual stuff.

Ok. Maybe I wasn't clear enough...
I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT MEMBER HOSTED EVENTS. Ahem. Of course anyone can hold a party. But I'm not talking about a bbq or a mining party or anything like that! I'm talking about official meetings where we discuss official issues. Something where leaders are present and we can ask them questions about the clan or updates and stuff like that. Of course anyone can host an event. But I'm not talking about events. I'm talking about meetings, such as the one that was held awhile back at the JBI. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Starting SeeD Meetings again sounds good to me; everyone can get chances to meet others, hang out, and other things. I have a couple of idea for the meetings to help improve them so that there wouldn't we wouldn't have the bedlam that we had at the first meeting. So if Cspace decides to start meetings again, I'll help whoever is in charge organize it.
What I believe should occur at meetings is announcements relating to SeeD (like recent promotions), discussions relating to SeeD, and questions related to SeeD. We could also work together to solve any problems relating to SeeD. Then SeeDs can meet others SeeDs they haven't gotten the chance to meet yet, chat, and complete any trades set up in the market forum.
Next we could do something enjoyable like a train, and pking raid, town burning, etc.. Lastly, everyone can end the meeting by leaving (how easy) or heading off with others to complete a quest, works on a certain skill, etc..
The SeeD in charge would probably be the one with the most authority (Leader, 2nd Command, Elite General, General, etc.); or some would simply be chosen to be in charge (a couple in case one isn't able to attend).

Dragonman pretty much said what was exactly in my opinion
I felt that once a week, we could have a meeting on a Saturday around 1pm Eastern, and do certain things.
Firstly, we would really discuss anything happening within SeeD (Issues, Announcements, Future Plans, etc.), and answer any questions relating to those issues.
Then, I think we could have a small "Question Period" where people could just in general ask questions about things said before, about SeeD, etc.
Next, I think we should have something like a "New SeeD Orientation". Any SeeD who just joined recently could really just tell a bit about themselves and ask any questions.
Finally, we would do some kind of fun activity, like training together, dueling, wilderness madness, etc.

About this 'New Seed Orientation', since it could be the first one, shouldnt we all say something about themselves (if they want)? Then everyone can know everyone!
I also found a cool spot to have a meeting, the entrance to the members part of Al Kharid! There's a jail cell where insane people can be put in, a treasure chest for umm a finsish point for an event, and a stone thingy where people can stand in front of when they talk. Unfortunately no beer nearby, but there is a bank! Its pretty secluded unless we all rush in, and then some people follow us, or the exploring newbies.
