The garden that i first joined, Templar Knights, is basically dead. And i believe
many more gardens are basically dead as well.
I suggest a reform in the gardens, and set all the active players into gardens
so we can do more things together. With each garden a set purpose
and goals so gardens can be more then just a name and a group.
I see no pt in saying we have 700 members when basically only 20 or so
members are actually active in clan business. The rest of the members even if they are active in Runescape is only a SeeD by name.
Having served the army for two years, i can suggest a military way of organising
our gardens. With gardens for fighting (fighting divisions), gardens for
craftsmanship and gardens for supply. With set goals each month given by the
top people of SeeD and passed down to the commanders of gardens who in turn
orders the rest of the men.
Gardens that achieves the goals are rewarded with points and each month we can have the 'garden of the month' decided by the points system and a garden ranking
system.
It will be lovely if we can have a logistic garden where arms are created and
distributed to the fighting divisions. I believe there shouldnt be another
'steel crisis' since a garden is speciallised in the work while the other gardens specialises in their own field.
So in this way we can have 'elite gardens' and the 'sloppy gardens' this creates
friendly compeition that will greatly aid in our clan's progress.
Recent contact with the BRC has me feel that we can create a peacekeeping force
in Runescape. We can contact small clans in RS and offer them our services. With SeeD ambassadors in their clans to verify any conflict that befalls the small clans.
When these clans are attacked, SeeD will mobilise the fighting divisons (so well trained with trying to attain the monthly points) to the assistance of our contacts.
This is a drastic change, but methinks it will greatly improve our clan's performance
and fun.
Maybe you would think, 'why should we listen to this SeeD officer who just joined
3 days ago?'
Ive played online games for at least 8 years. And in this ive led many clans in various games like Diablo, Darkrealm, JYonline, Graalonline, MUD
In real life ive served the army for 2 years and this is my second year in uni studying philosophy.
I pledge my allegieance to SeeD and want to do something to make it large and
make SeeD a difference. Though my game knowledge is meagre, i am willing
to put in my other experiences into the service of this clan that had helped me so
much.
Please consider my suggestion and see if it is feasible. Thank you for reading
fellow SeeDs!
Till swords part.
Your friendly neighbourhood philosopher
