I think the word(s) noob, noobie, etc etc. have extended from the lower levels. I am not saying they havent stopped for the lower levels, its just they arent the only ones. I have been called a noob alot when I wasnt around SeeDs or my friends, and that progressed until I came to about level 45. Let me just get to the point and say the word noob is crazy.
----
PsyK, thats why most of us in this clan are in here for, to help our fellow members out

----
Viet, in my opinion, I think if you like to help people and it comes from the middle of your heart, you should do it. It shouldnt matter on if its going to help all people, but the people you want to help. And I think thats exactly why Zolon is making his garden.
----
Cspace and Rylkan and all other chains of command who make this clan great thank you and I have been loving it since I have been here since August of last year (had a different forums name).
----
Zolon, I wont join it right away due to some goals I have to obtain, but when I am higher leveled, I will definitly join your garden.
----
Thats my 2 cents on this topic and to everyone posting about it.

Hey, I'm not saying you shouldn't help people. If you guys read my post clearly, i said only about the players who do negative things. Like scammers, idiots who think they're tough, idiots who call noobs noob, idiots who say "this is my rock", idiots who insult people, idiots who try to insult people, idiots who think they're better then everyone else because they have a rune pick, idiots who think they can pk anyone they want, chicken pkers who pilejump and so on. Those players you can't change, so don't bother.

Also, elite clans have their place. The Druidz are a classic example of a truely elite clan. They are invitation only, 80+ combat, 1200+ Skill Total, and at least three (3) non-combat skills above 80. This is good for a couple of reasons:
1: No newbs or noobs can get in to the clan. Most level 80+s have ceased behaving immaturely. Not that newbs are bad, it's just that you don't want them in your clan when your clan is geared toward elite players.
2: It's a great way for high leveled players to associate with their own kind.
Conclusion: Elite clans have their place in RuneScape, and you simply cannot change a person's way of thinking just by talking to them in a video game. It's not going to work, no matter how hard you try.

You must BELIEVE in the ability to change.
as Ghandi once said "You must be the change you wish to see in the world"

However, RuneScape is a different case. It's hard to get RuneScapians to change. Even a SeeD whom I shall not name - a SeeD, mind you - questioned another SeeD for reporting a rulebreaker, saying that our job is not to be the RuneScape police (not exact words, though I know them). We may try to change people, but it's nigh-impossible. SeeD isn't very well-known, so threatening to have a clan of 500+ start killing rulebreakers in the wildy will come off as a bluff to most people. In addition, many rulebreakers are on "alts" and don't use the wild at all, and much of the time just transfer their stolen goods to their main! The only other thing we can do to prevent people from breaking the rules is to threaten them with JAGeX's Banstix™, but most rulebreakers know that JAGeX rarely takes action on F2P, and only occasionally on P2P. Even if they're banned, they can jsut make a new account.
It's a fine goal, to be sure, but I'd say that a lack of action on JAGeX's part makes our lack of lack of action a bit superfuous, really. Savvy?
Gah... midnight (5 PM in othe parts of the world...). Beddish. Nite all!
