For example, the ballots should be fair. There must not be double votes or
fake accounts voting.
Question now is how can we ensure this.
If we can vote for a king it will be easy for a large enemy to take over our clan.
Just send in 20 spies..at separate time intervals. total votes = 39.
Enemy wins. Takes over clan. Everyone is confused. Schmism occur.
SeeD cease to be a clan. Not that it will really happen but how can we prevent such a thing from happening.
If we were to create a system of an elected King..there is so much to consider about...our real governments has elaborate systems controling voting and even so has many problems. How can i be sure it wont happen to our little clan.
And i dont find this fun at all...i mean we live in democratic countries (at least most of us) we vote for our government we seen them play monkeys in parliaments,
isnt an online game about escaping into a virtual world where we can enjoy the things that are not in real life?
I just realised my above arguments is such that the King has authorities of a King during his reign, that is 'absolute power' by raw definition of the term KING.
I just realised a little thing that i missed..that is the King must work with Cspace.
If a King has to work WITH cspace...why is he the king then. Is he a figurehead
like Tenno(emperor) from Japan and the Queen of England? How much authority does he hold? is he the second in command? or the first?
Why are we going through so much trouble just to elect a figurehead??
What is the actual function for the king? we need to know this before we can actually vote on whether we need an elected king. Also the term King is for the leader of a monarch...i dont think we can by definition elect a king.. Of course
this is runescape.
Before we do any polling i believe we must first understand what are the duties of
a king and what are his responsibilities and how can having an elected King contribute to the clan..and if its all only for fun..how can this fun thing contribute or
endanger the safety of the clan.
