Erm, I was reading the tip.it Rare Items page and stumbled upon this:

These were the result of you drinking a full wine jug.

Market value as of Sunday 5th October 2003: 2 million gp to 4 million gp.
Reason for being rare: You cannot drink half of a wine anymore, you just drink it all.
