*attempts to bring the discussion back on topic*

I've recently seen quite a few large signatures either with huge images or just a ton of text to scroll through. Like Cjjones said, you should put text in a marquee if it take s alittle while to scroll through it. And for people that want images in their signature but they're too large, just resize them in paint.

P.S. I'm keeping an eye on my post here.

Long sigs make posts very hard to read.....one reason i made mine smaller

i changed my post to make it a little smaller

also, if the image is too big, you can put that in a marquee too

that's a function of the fact that for some od reason netscape is the default browser on macs and netscape punishes you for every microscopic error in html code. anoying, but if you can make it look right in netscape ITS RIGHT. lol.

I think if your looking at the bottom of your sig and you cant see the text field of the post then it is to long.

Line when looking at the bottom of your sig, in some cases that maybe to big.

Your signature would have to be mostly text though. The size of images in signatures should be to a maximum of the size of Rylkan's signature image:

Takes up a lot of space otherwise. Cspace's is a good example also.

Yes that is a good size pic... I think ones like Death Snakes and Nottygirls are to big, however.
