Well... occasionally I look through the "Friendly Clans" page, and visit the sites there. Take a look:

The Iron Throne: 404 error
Miotu's Knights: No problems that I see...
The White SeeDs: Doesn't say when it was last updated, but looks the same as it did a few months ago. Also, didn't they merge with SeeD?
The Woodland Realm: 404 error
RaE International: 404 error
The Ice Knights: 404 error
Kon's Killers: Last updated April 26, 2002.
Elite Rune Knights: Doesn't say when it was last updated, but looks the same as it did a few months ago.
The Word: 404 error
The MageWarriors: 404 error
The Fire Miners: Doesn't say when it was last updated, but lists an "upcoming" even as March 1, 2003. Where did Whitefire go, anyway?
The Lava Dragons: No problems that I see...
Undercover: Self-hosted, and the user has been offline for as long as I can tell. Same "offline" message for months.

Now, I may be wrong since some of our allies/ friendly clans don't have sites, and I haven't done extensive research on this... but it seems to me that Miotu's Knights and The Lava Dragons are our only active allies...

You can't just step into an alliance. People can backfire on you and put us in war, so allies are chosen carefully. Hopefully we will have more, but there is not need to rush it, we can defend ourselves.

Sheesh, with those requirements, its a wonder how they have over 100 members!

EDIT: Xpker! You cannot ask a clan to ally with us until you have A general's Consent! I thought you had enough sense to realise that.

You guys, the iron throne was the clan i was originally in at about level 60. It was torn down by 0rian, the leader after most people quit due to some enemies. Therefore, no site.

The way I see it, we should try to just make some Runescape friends. Take a friendly guy out there, maybe even ask him to do a favor, and depending on the outcome, maybe see if he has a clan.

Well Its me 0rian, and im back with avengence, not sure how old this link is. Probably no one will ever read it!

Just thought I'd say The Iron Throne was indeed an ally, INFACT i was recruited in clan seed back in the day by Cspace himself when there was only a few members ( I know what your thinking! Clan Seed with less than one kajillion members?! Never!), then broke off to become an ally. Recruited my old pal Superchao, and then started getting griefed by some loser clan!

I had enough and it just collapsed .
