Its a matter of faith.. all of that happens to us because God wants us to stay faithful to him. Its Satan who does it, but he must ask Gods permission before he does ANYTHING. basically i believe its a test.. and God wants you to know He's got everything under control.
As for Adam and Eve, or any type of evolution:
If it was evolution that brought us here.. whet made the single-celled organisms we evolve 'from'? something had to be made, and 'someone' had to make it.

Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

I agree with AW, there has to be a God, personally I do believe that there is one true God who created us all, but I really can't say that I have proof, due to the fact that I haven't really been questioned about it. I will try to ask some people whom I trust in religion and theology and try to come up with a decent amount of "proof" that there is in fact a God.

To Alpha - You make a great point. This is seeminlgy an unending loop, and perhaps out of human comprehension. I feel that all of my questions will be answered when I die.

| Listen all of you, to try to prove god with mere logic is to sayhe doesn't exist at all but you want to try and prove something that is supposed to be unexplainable. You cannot base god with logic in any way, form, or fashion. He is the anti-logic. You cannot base god with today's logic in no way. In doing so you are saying he is a creature just like us humans and we are all in the same. God is no more powerful than that of humans. But this "god" person could have infact been a loner in his own ways that was an artist. A poetic intellectual man. He could've written the bible himself and called it a "Holy Book". It could've been so widespread that people turned his fantasy stories and legends into folklore and his stories became believe by many people to be true. But that is just one theory about "god". my own I must add. |
I hope this doesn't start a bad relationship betwen us, but here goes...
Your arguement against my logical reasonning is rather unconvincing. We also seem to be argueing different points. You believe that christianity is but a hoax, am i right? You are saying that the bible can be, and is distorted. I believe that this is a possibility. Men are not perfect beings, and there are many falacies within the bible. At the time of the birth of the bible, people were very stupid and gulible. To say that it is a flawless document is rather unbelievable. From here, there are two plausible arguements. The first being that the bible is, in fact, flawed, and that Christianity could be a false religion. A second, self supporting arguement is that God himself wrote or at leasted greatly influenced the bible. Neither can be proven wrong or right by physical evidence.
My arguement, however, is different. I'm saying that logically, a supreme entity exists and has guided our fate through its vast knowledge and understanding or the universe. The way I see it, both our arguements are valid, though based soley on theory and conjecture. You cannot offer proof, nor can I. As it were, this is a matter of faith. Believe what you want.
Crescens, I think this has gone on long enough. This may start an unneccesary conflict, and should be closed.

1. I reckon the whole religion (In my opinion misleading and silly but I accept that I can be wrong) thing was created to establish power. For example cave man says "I saw a fire light from nothing, it is a sign that I must be chief" or "I am gods chosen one" the less intelligent of the cave men instantly belive 'wise ugg' and make him their leader thinking that he was a miracle man. But what if ugg cant make miracles? well he can fake it, lets say he makes clay sculptures and magically god blesses them by making those sculptures real. Ugg would just make deer sculptures when he spots deer are near. So ugg stays as leader.
The only reason some leaders are not religious is because tough people rise to the top as well as cunning people.
So thats my first reason as an excuse for power.
2. If humans cant work something out then they feel uncomfterble therefore stuff like god comes up. "What happens after you die?" "You come back again silly"
"Why are we here?" "A giant man in the sky made us"
3. In all religios books the religions god or gods do something to prove they exist, for example parting the sea and whatnot they preformed miracles before why not now huh?
4. I dont see a noha type flood everytime crime rates go up..
5. Other religions belive just as strongly in their god(s) and their god(s) alone. each religons god(s) decree that they are the only gods. Why did they start beliving in their gods when its your god that really exists they have the same concept but so what their god cant possibly exist....
6. Dinosaurs?
The bible says god created humans from the beginning, scientists have proven thats a lie by discovering dinosours and things.
7. Evolution?
I know its hard to accept that we are (or might be so i dont sound bigoted) apes but look at them they are the same shape and everything.
8. Disasters?
If gods so good and he loves us so much why doesnt he stop earthquakes huh?
9. Kids belive what their parents teach them the reason most havnt stopped beliving in god as science progresses is that humans teach children as scientists cant prove outright that god doesnt exist (Though they will continue to take chunks out of it one at a time, but really everyone wont stop beliving) people will continue to teach facts unless facts can be proven wrong, even primitive facts. Everyone belived the earth was the center of everything, its been disproved so no one belives that anymore.
10. People trust authority figures, humans are pack animals and the majority of people will belive what a leader says is true.
11. Most humans cant belive in the concept of infinity because its too mindblowingly hard to think of everything (because you cant
For instance numbers 0123456789..........(inf) you can count forever and never will there be an end. Ahh you say theres no end but there is a beggining in truth 0 is not the beggining its a starting point, before 0 youve got -1 -2 -3 ect.
You see the earth was created sometime in infinity rather that at the beggining of infinity (which has no beginning that defies the point of infinity) you have to have a place to put the start and the end (and what happens after the end? nothing? nothing is still something nothing can therefore ever be final).
People can say scientists have invented a scientific comferting answer by inventing the big bang begginging but its not its a start before the big bang there was supposedly nothing but even nothing is something. God is made out to be a beginning to everything the big bang is a more plausible start.
(I strayed off of the point there what i did was try to disprove that there is a start to EVERYTHING!! but prove that there was a start to Everything excluding what came before everything
Id like to see arguments from the other side here because im positive all of these have a religios opposition answer to them.
4 SeeD emblems yay!!
