Today I've been hearing about a mock virus that is spread simply by adding a certain person to your friends list. I don't know if there is any truth to it, but two people who don't know each other have both mentioned it to me. One friend told me some guy wanted to talk to me, and to add the email. Half an hour later someone else (Flameray) warned me not to listen if someone asks me to. Just thought i'd warn any of you that use the program, just in case this is real...

The email given was dar0nb0y187@hotmail.com, I highly recommend you don't add them...

Does anyone have any information about this?

Oh, I'd appreciate it if nobody moved this until people have had a chance to see it, CZ gets more activity than most other boards... If this is true, people should find out about it quickly.

MSN is always full of security risks. However, I have not heard this one before. Recently, though, a friend of mine got a virus through MSN messenger that completely screwed up the computer and forced her to run a system recovery.

I know, I have gotten this thing before, it makes my computer go crazy and the CD tray keeps sliding in and out and it wont stop and I cant click or anything, it forces me to hardboot it.
