well, from what I've heard about what was going on, it was more or less hopeless to *completely* eliminate all the stuff that was going on between new, old, and other such members. My father says to me very frequently, "Boy, you really need to learn when the time is right to just shut up and drop it."

This doesn't mean the rebels should not say anything, it means that EVERYONE needs to just drop whatever, and try and keep most of this stuff to themselves until they have thought over what they were mad about. There's always gonna be something that someone does that you don't agree on, it doesn't mean you need to state how stupid the idea is. just don't post in that thread.

I'm not exactly sure what everyone was fighting over in the first place, kinda gone over christmas, but it seems like a large part of it was unwanted comments. The best rule to follow at times like these is if you don't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

(I hope you all understand what I was *trying* to say, I'm not very good at making my point clear and tend to tick people off cause I say it wrong )

Made sense to me serph... If you don't think what you're going to say to someone else is going to come out nicely, then don't say it.

I call what you did 'not very effective' not because it did or didn't work, but because it caused a lot of conflict. This very topic is proof it wasn't very effective, Cspace has had to write 2 or 3 posts saying we're at peace, and to stop flaming you guys. I know what you were trying to do, but declaring war was not an effective way to do it... I'm not flaming you serph, I'm just stating my opinion and why.

Props to Gotenks. Yes, the "rebels" are part of this clan, but if they want to turn around and declare war on the clan that they belong to, they need to realize that it really isn't right for them to do so. There are many of us in this clan who have been here a lot longer, and who generally have had many more issues concerning the clan than those that are more recent members. I don't think it's right to take such drastic measures to get something you want. I remember when I wanted to be Commander of Elendil Garden. I simply made a post, and I PMed Cspace. Out of his generosity, he granted me my request. It's that easy. If you want something, you need to take more mature measures in coming to a consensus upon the subject at hand. Another example is when I was made Co-Commander of the PKing Group, and when MinderDamian and I first had it created. Cspace really did a lot of things for us, and to this day I am thankful. Along with taking harsh measures, I think the people that flamed the "rebels" and the "rebels" themselves should step back and reflect upon my words. Yes, I once flamed, too, but now I realize what needs to be done. The old school clan members need to step up and give these "rebels" guidance. If they don't want our guidance, then we cannot say that we didn't try. It is up to those of us who have been here the longest to set the standard. The longer we have been involved in this clan means that we hold more responsibility. I hope the "rebels" can come to some sort of conformity and take an unbiased look into my words, for my words come from an unbiased point of view; and to flame me or mock me in any way is just showed an extreme immaturity and forebearing lack of a will to comply to any means of rectification. I don't harbor any sort of grudge towards the 'Rebels', it's just my opinion they didn't choose the best option to change things. I can see what you're saying GM8, but I don't completely agree with it. It isn't quite that important how long you've been in SeeD, it's more to do with how you act. I can also see Serph and the others feeling it was hopeless trying to change things conventionally, simply because Cspace is too busy to spend a lot of time on a few members. He's reasonable about new ideas, but the system we have now is good in a lot of ways.
