QUOTE
1 = -1
1 = sqrt(1) = sqrt(-1 * -1) = sqrt(-1) * sqrt(-1) = i * i = i^2 = -1

this part is impossible:
sqrt(-1) * sqrt(-1)

is doesnt have an answer

you cant get the sqrt of -1, no such number multiplied by itself will get -1

He's got you there... Negative numbers can't be square rooted.

sqrt(-1) is the imaginary number i. i is used to denote complex numbers and thus it is not a real number. and gotenks negative numbers dont turn positive when u sqrt them bluetongue.gif sqrt(-25) would be 5i where i is the imaginary number sqrt(-1)

and my calculator says undef when u try to divide by 0 conf.gif

Because

sqrt(-1 * -1) = sqrt(-1) * sqrt(-1) should actually be sqrt(-1 * -1) = -sqrt(1) * -sqrt(1) = 1

Been a while since I've done any math like this so I'm not sure it that is how it works. I hope you still remember alpha.

Aaaah.... Looking back now, I understand what alpha did.

Hehehe... *didnt know complex numbers back then*

So nooby! biglaugh.gif

But yeah, Daryl is right with the flaw. bluetongue.gif
