THE FILE WAS A VIRUS
Look at the announcements board, I will post removal information

Put it this way, when I opened it, it started sending emails, and a new file was frantically trying to get to the internet. When I scanned all of the virus files with loads of scnners it said it wasnt a virus. When I checked the files on the internet, using google, it finds out it was.

If you downloaded the SeeD toolkit:

ON your computer:

Kill the process Fatrecov.exe in task manager

Use Msconfig (type msconfig in, in run) to untick the box Fatrecov.exe on the startup tab.

Delete the following files:
Runevtool32.exe
Rune32.exe
Fatrecov.exe
Runescape.exe (this is the official runescape client, but if you had this running at the time, it will have been changed. Redownload this from www.runescape.com)

Use regedit (type it in run), and delete the following entries:
(Use control + F and type the names into the search box, delete any entries with these in).
Runevtool32
Rune32
Fatrecov

Change your passwords, for everything you used lately (it may be a cookie grabber).

Hey cool, Mrb gave me this yesterday and I can now use it to time my mining hits to calculate time til level. This is really great Mrb, he should get an emblem bluetongue.gif

Nobody download this yet though, I am going to check just to make sure this file is safe. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but I've heard of files like these being altered by others and used maliciously, and I don't want any SeeDs being hacked or anything as a result.

I ran a virus scan and a spy bot scan, and it didn't say anything. Make sure to double check, but I'm really enjoying this version grnwink.gif I will post screen shots within the next couple days thumb.gif

I was going to leave this open a little while, so if anyone needs help they can post it, and so that anyone that has downloaded this virus will see the topic, and read it. But I think most of the people have now grnwink.gif

It will stay here for a while though. Any comments should be on the virus topic in announcements.
