I think the only crimes punishable by death should be crimes that cause the death of others. I also think that Alpha's analysis is a very good one, and that people can very often be misconvicted of rape by feminist nazis. Yes, the "vaginal scarring" thing is a way of proving someone guilty, but often people are convicted of it without that much evidence. Nazi feminists can be utterly disgusting people at times. Anyway, I think that someone who takes a life should have theirs taken, while someone legitimately convicted of rape should face rape themself. That's justice in a nutshell, really.

Sorry for the double post, but this needs a bump.

Ever since I said that people should list sources, doing so has deterred people from posting here. I'm still VERY interested in hearing everyone's views on the matter. I'm conducting a great deal of research on the matter as well, and will be more than happy to share some of the things I've come up with as the topic maintains itself.

I'm BUMPing this back up for ya, and I got something to add.

This is about the scarring. Some of us were just born with a certain size, and cannot help that. bluetongue.gif Anyway, that isn't a foolproof mehod of determining rape. I say let 1000 guilty men walk free lest we imprison 1 innocent man.

Lprince, I think there was a supreme court case that challenged rape as a sex-biased crime. It was knocked down because they ruled that in this situation, the physical differences of men and women are strong enough that there is no gender bias. In other words, women can't be convicted for rape, only battery and sexual harrasment. (Sexists everywhere...)

Oh, and the eye for an eye doesn't always work, but is true justice in many cases. Suicide attempts should also be punishable by death. Anyone that can try and fail that is too stupid to live. bluetongue.gif

That is one of the stupidist things I have ever heard. I would rather that one innocent man get killed with the rest of them, just to deter the crime.

Cres, what types of sources do you need for your project?

Research Paper Specs:
- 11 sources total:
- maximum of two internet sources (excluding news articles found online)
- must include at least one interview
- 12 pages in length
- that's eleven and a half pages too long

Blah.

To Alpha --

What Lprince was talking about was that while men generally can't get raped by women, they can get raped by other men. It's disgusting, yes, but I think that's what he was talking about.

To Killer: That phrase is a motto for something, i forget what. The reason being is, how would you like to be falsely imprisoned? Not fun, huh?

To Cres: I pitty you bluetongue.gif

To Lprince: Eww, butt... *shudders*

You knew it was coming Cres bluetongue.gif

Alpha, it isn't imprisonment that I think should be the punishment, but death instead. There is a fine line, but I would take it to make sure that the real person serves his punishment as well.

Whoo, born in 1987. This year is great, eh Cres? grnwink.gif (My post count)

It's passive voice because the subject of the sentence is indirectly revealed. If it were active voice, it would be as you said, "Killer hits Alpha over the head with a bamboo stick." I used passive voice, saying something close enough to "Alpha is hit over the head with a bamboo stick by Killer." Catch the difference? Arr.

Turned in the final of my research paper, but I thought I'd revive my topic again, just for the sake of debate.

Seems like this debate has completely died off, since people changed the topic. I still stand by my beliefs.
