Well, would it?
I think that in some countries it would work out (Canada, New Zealand, Australia, a few others) But I think in some (USA, Mexico, UK, a few more places) it would turn that country to a barren wasteland. I base this on the fact of the amount of murders those countries have (first lot of countries, small numbers [bout 100 a year max], the second lot amount of murders it through the roof [11,000+])
What do you think?
Will Anarchy Work? Plus a little debate on Gun Control...

It is simple, it will not work. The entire world used to be in anarchy. It is human nature to be greedy, and government formed. If there is anarchy, it will disappear in a short time, so no, it will not work.

Nope. As far as I can see, most humans are morally corrupt.
Look at the problems we have now. Our governments may not be the best, but imagine if there was nothing telling us it's wrong to kill or steal other than the fact that someone else would kill us.

If you mean in like the cave man's time, you don't know this but I think that we would have had some sort of heirarchy and a tribal system of some description.

Monarchy isn't dictatorship. It's Monarchy in Norway, and Norway is a rich and peaceful country.

But it isn't a True monarchy. It still has a parliament and a king or queen (sorry, i dont know what it is right now). A true monarchy is a dictatorship.

The world was in anarchy, but it didn't last. Ug and Thag got along peacefully, and one of them realized that he is smarter/stroger/has some advantage over the other, and simple government formed.

Countries like Canada might work with anarchy because they're five minutes away from it already. There are not harsh enough punishments issued in liberal countries, yet people still commit terrible crimes. They just aren't punished for them. Anarchy would lead to absolute chaos in all countries, not just the ones that are far from it now.

In Norway, there are not many, if any, murders a year. Max 5 or something. And why is that? Yes, that's because weapons(guns and such) is ILLEGAL in Norway(except high-ranking policemen and soldiers, they're allowed to). I think USA would be a much better country to live in if ALL WEAPONS WERE TO BECOME ILLGAL(no this isn't an offense against americans it's just a suggestion):

How would the US benefit from a weapon ban? Answer: It won't. The US's borders are not well protected, so with the smugglers adding more weapons to what they bring in will make the country nowhere near safe. Guns in the hands of the the wrong people is very bad. If all the guns are in the hands of the wrong people, then the country would be very unsafe.

like me lol invade Norway!!!!!
but a ban on guns in U.S would be a bad mistake... cause no one would have guns to protect ourselfs but criminals will keep getting more and more guns....
