I honestly wouldn't mind living under an honorable dictatorship. Do what the government says to do, do it right. If people are incompetent and/or commit crimes, they get sent to the guillotine. Thus, the amount of criminals is drastically reduced, and people no longer need to pay for security systems to keep criminal scum from breaking into their houses and stealing everything they own.

Ah, I'd say communism is favorable to facism.

Anyway, there are too many stupid people for anarchy to work. Such a thing can only exist if absolutely no one ever interacts. With 6 billion people on this planet, not likely. If someone were to thin the population...

As for guns. You ban them, all the law abiding citizens will not have any. The criminals that use the guns will still get them and have much less a threat of their victum's being able to retaliate. What do criminals care if they break one more law?

I could never live under a dictatorship or commie rule. In communism, you get what you ned. A single doctor would earn less than a street sweeper with 4 kids and a wife. If a Dictator told me to do something I didnt like, I would tell him to shove it then get killed. (or start an underground revolution. Anyone read 1984?)

If you've studied communism enough, you'd know what was done in the Soviet Union wasn't true communism. Its goal is to have government restrictions on communism to cut down on the influence of big corporations. They are the greatest threat to our freedom, not facists anymore. With mass communication and advances in transportation technology, we'll soon see corporate rule by the end of the 22nd century or less.

what you want is an elected dictatorship, that would work, along with all cres said
If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

True communism blows. People that work harder should get more than those that don't work as hard. Even Stalinist communism pisses me off, because there's no reward for working hard and being devoted to the leader. Thus, if you know that no matter how much work you do, you'll get the same as everyone else, you won' work hard, and the country won't get anywhere. Dictatorship, on the other hand, would revolve around everyone doing the most for their leader. If it worked well, which it never does, because dictators abuse their power (duh), everyone would work their hardest. If you don't work hard enough, or you opt to commit crimes or do other illegal things, TOUGH FOR YOU. You get your head blown off. Thus, the amount of inept people is drastically reduced. Solve the world's population problem and get rid of inept potheads. Really, this plan would work if the world only had a dictator that didn't abuse his power.

Eep! Did I sound as if I was a commie? *Shudders*

Anyway, I totally agree with what Cres said. We need a good dictator to rule the world. Democracy is horrible when you consider what kinds of people vote. Complete idiots elect incompetent morons and the world suffers. (I have solid proof, look who is in the whitehouse.) Everyone is all like "heck no, dictators suck," but a good dictator is better than any elected official.

BTW, the only true monarchy left on earth is in Suadi Arabia. The way things are going, it won't last the decade.

I just looked it up, Brunei's sultan is their prime minister as well.

The problem with dictatorship goes back to what I said in my first post in this thread. The dictator will be greedy because that is human nature. Government will be run by a power-hungry jerk, and problems will balance themselves out.

I think USA would be a much better country to live in if ALL WEAPONS WERE TO BECOME ILLGAL(no this isn't an offense against americans it's just a suggestion):

First of all, it's against the second ammendment to ban firearms. On another note, if there were NO gun control laws whatsoever there would be considerably less crime. A theif is not going to rob a person or a bank if they know the person they're robbing is packing heat too.

Anyone seen Bowling For Columbine? I reccommend that movie.

Well, in it, there is a clip of comedian Chris Rock at a show, he says: 'We don't need gun control! We need bullet control!! Bullets should cost $5000 dollars each! Then there will be no innocent bystanders! It'll be like: "****, he musta done somethin'" 'and it goes on..

But, I think he does have a point. If bullets were $5000 dollars, it would take years for crims to have enough ammo to do a mass murder/ suicide, and other gun crimes.

How are we 'apes gone wrong' We evolved from apes. Evolution is evolving to adapt to our surroundings. And I'd say we've done that not too badly.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Oh, and the Anti-christ is supposed to have a 7 year reign before Jesus come back... If you believe in that stuff.
