Yeah... some of you are going on like..."Wha..?" But some of you might know what I'm talking about. It's a one act play. Yeah, there is this one act play festival, where one act plays are perfromed, adjudicated, and then awarded. So.. I'll take you through this.

THE START SECOND SEMESTER:
Day was going good, yeah... until Drama. Then it was really good! (Then there was Biology, but that's another BORING story) Okay. So my Drama class is all super friendly.. A whole bunch of people I know are in it, and the others are all friendly too. So, it started off, I met this guy, James. He's a little off the wall and... annoying, but he's an okay guy. We were talking about the one act plays. He said he was going to audition. I was talking to Raven the next day, and she convinced me to. So we all went in, and auditioned. Some of Evan Hardy's seasoned actors were there, scary, really. But apparently, I held my own, and I fit the character of the play my teacher picked.

THE WEEK OF THE CASTING:
Well, we were all anxious that monday morning. We checked the Drama board, me, Colin, Erica, and a few other friends, and I couldn't see over the crowd. Suddenly... Colin yelled "Damnit!" Erica yelled "Cool!" and Colin held out is hand.
"You got a part, Chris, good job." Apparently... I was Johnny... otehrwise known as...THE BOY WITH THE FUNNY NOSE! (Funny nose! Nose.... Funny! Hahahahahaha!)

AND SO IT BEGINS: REHERSALS SECTION I
Yeah... I was surprised. I was The Boy, James was Georgie, a creepy hyper off-the-wall kid, and Raven was Phoebe Dive, the immature one... with Glasses. THings started off a little slow... I never got to do anything, because all my lines are in the last scene (Everyone said it was the best scene, including my teacher, so, I think I did well, well, me and Alyssa) Anyway, it was akquard... but things started to go downhill...

THE PLAY IMPLODES: SECTION II
Things strated to get bad. Real bad. First, Sarah dropped out... no more Dixie...Then, peopel went on trips.. rehersals were cancelled. THEN... our teacher started to get stressed out... rehersals turned to firefights, and that thursday, while we were painting our set, things just collapsed. We were all talkng about how we hate this person, this person hates this person.. whatever (not me, I just sat back and watched, I acctually liked everyone in the play) When our teacher walks in, starts saying about how she doesn't liek this and that, then Cassandra says something that sounded a little snippy, and our teacher just EXPLODES... she freaked out, then ended with "I'm taking tommorrow off" (Coincidentally, our substitute is the ever reappearing Mr. Grant.. the most amusing teacher ever)

THE PATH TO VICTORY: SECTION III
Well, things picked up. Miss Johnson returned, bubbly, and re-energized. THen, we got a new Dixie, and a Stage Manager. Our rehearsals started working out, people were off-book, finally, and peopel always showed up. The, we had our last rehearsal.. the drereaded monday night. But.. It was excellent.. except for my part... it seemed akward. So, she re-did the whole thing. I was like "How are we going to remember this for tommorow?!?!"

-TUESDAY, Period 4 Performance.
Got my clothes on. Spirit gum applied to Funny nose. Nose applied to face. Went back at the entrance with a paper bag. As I sat, waiting for go-time (for myself) I psyched up James to be super-hyper for Georgie. And he did excellent. I went up, and I got ht emost reaction from the audience. Then, after, everyone was like "Great Job Chris!"

-TUESDAY, 7:30 PM Performance.
Zuh? Same set-up, but Alyssa missed her starting cue because of Miss Johnson... Oh well.. It felt like a bad Omen.... but, the paly picked up.. James's part was awesome! Rigth after, I went up. THe reaction I got was perfect. "Aww... the poor little boy!" "Aw... he has a funny nose too!" Then I got up there, and performed amazingly.. Derek, this guy in my Drama class and one of our friends,. who we always compliment because he's such a great actor, but he hides it, came up to me and said this: "Okay, it's payback time. You always say how I'm such a great actor, and how I can go so far, so I'll say this; If I go, you'll be ahead of me because you are a natural born performer. Chris, you can be a proffessional actor, if you want to be." I took it to heart, because that was really good...

SATURDAY.. TODAY.. FESTIVAL DAY...

Amazing.. I was quiet in rehersals. Well, I was loud in our Theatre. It amazed peopel. In this... GigantiGym... I was too loud... everyone was like "Chris.. VOLUME! THis is a big place, but you can still project!" And I'm sick too.. it sucks.. Well, We went up there, and were SO lound, I scared myself. THe performance was EVEN BETTER.

Well.. it starts with a groupof girls playing.. they are 8-10 years old. Then, a girl with a funny nose appears, and they all make fun of her. So she has her monologue of how she hates having a funny nose.. "But then... out of somewhere.. I dream of a boy... a boy.. whose name is Johnny." "Johnny be nimble! Johnny be quick! Johnny jump over the candlestick!" "Johnny... the boy with the funny nose.."

Then, all the girls one by one have their monologues.
Bladdy Bladdy Blah... I'm different.. etc...

The Johnny shows up.

THe girls are bullies.

MAN I wish I could have seen that play. It sounds hilarious. That by the way, is a very good comeback, probably among the best, right next to "that's what you think... but... you just wait until tomorrow and I'll have a real witty comeback for you!!"

Oh well, i'll probably end up going around school thinking to myself "funny nose... that's funny HAHAHA" for a few weeks... And then I'll annoy sproogle with it, and then he'll kill me, but still be pleased that I finally posted on the SeeD forums...
