I have noticed that many people have copied hyperfreid's avatar. Yes, it is very cool and all that, but I mean really. This just takes away the whole point of avatars. Hello? Avatars explain you, who you are. That's like what Mr. Snaffleburger says, "Conform,consume,obeeeyy!"

They can choose whatever avatar they want. It is entirely their choice. Or as you said, "Avatars explain you, who you are. ". Maybe that avatar explains them, who they are.

Yea.. about the avatars. Mine is currently explaining in detail what the inside of my head looks like. (the x-ed out piece of paper isn't there) I need help with the avatar.

the idea of an avatar (i think this is a sort of dictionary definition) is to represent you in a different place. Now avatar's have to be different or nobody unless they read the name which i now have to. For example i see the half human half matrix type thing and i know Jarik C-Bol is the one who posted that whereas 7 people have the same and gotenksjr3 has almost the same so it's annoying.

I scaned my pic into photoshop, made a new layer, traced my features with green, erased part of the fist layer, and that was it.

I think mvtaylor has a point though, when a lot of people have the same avatar, it is a little confusing if you're just quick-browsing a topic. (hehe i was realy confused for a minute when cspace changed his avatar)
