Welcome back! TheSmile.gif

Sorry to hear about that, not exactly what I expected, hope everything turns out alright. A bit has changed here lately and we're about to be on our own server, so I guess this is good timing at least. grnwink.gif

welcome back, i have a slingshot =/ not much but with a few fliptops...
Heros die and legends fall,
Created now a memory wall,
Blood was spilled and skin was torn,
Their action have now been scorned,
What once was great we frown upon,
Different ideals a day does dawn,
Whispering silently into the wind,
Their burnt candles they do tend,
We blow them out and push them away,
But they are great they wish to stay,
Only thecurious reach for their hands,
To help pull them out of the sea onto dry land,
But now we lay them in their graves,
Their spirits pushed back into the caves,
A gust from the north blows to the south,
Hush curious ones, hush your mouths.

It's a crying shame that peaceful individuals are forced to have to do things like this now. The world can be ugly, alright. :\ I get angry thinking about it. It's wrong that any person has to carry a deadly weapon just to have some semblance of safety walking down the street!

Australia seems much the opposite of America...

We have HEAVY weapon rules, no knifes or guns whatsoever. And we're very peaceful (Except the stupid Gang shootings lately, a gang leader got shot at midday in a resteraunt... And no-one saw a thing, in the middle of the city... eek4.gif )

Yeah, Australia does seem quite a bit different.

Don't really have to think about carrying protection here, fortunately.

i dont cary it for saftey... i carry it as a warning for people who try to mess with me... see... if someone wants to starts something but you pull out a knife 9 out of 10 people will back off thinking you will use it.... i do realize however that there is a risk of running into that number 10 person, but chances are unlikely cuz most of the time i am one of those people... but i do not start anything... i only finish it

Haha,

Then you can welcome the charges of assault with a deadly weapon. You pull that knife out with someone, they'll lock you up in a heartbeat. Even though it's self-defense, we still get screwed. Even if you don't swing, it's considered a threat. How crappy is that? So much for defending your own life! bluetongue.gif
