can anyone think of a good reason why my prediction of (and i already know it's right):

'the more carbon atoms a hydrocarbon has the more viscous it will be'

because we have to back it up with a reason and i searched on google and got papers written by proffesors and i was like O.o so please help if you can and keep it simple!

I have a table drawn out that shows:

As the number of carbon atoms increase, so does the viscosity. The viscosity is how thick something is, so the more atoms there are, surely that must mean the more thicker it will be
