#1: Age does factor into standard IQ testing. A younger person with a higher score (supposedly) is technically "smarter" than the older person with the equally high score. Look it up, there's tons of literature on it. ^__^ I don't have a very high opinion of Intelligence Quotient, as it absolutely *pigeonholes* children and adults--and puts preconceived notions in their heads as to what they can, and can NOT acheive. I think it's unhealthy. I will never encourage my own children to take one. Knowledge is free-flowing and everchanging, a constant work in progresss. I would rather their little minds and interests and passions unfold in a natural way. (Hard in this day with public schools and the sorry state of education in the United States, but hey, I can try *G*.)
#2: There are most certainly differences among IQ tests. I have tested everywhere between 125 through 155 on various ones.
Goes to show... LOL
Amused,
Lisa

I got a 174 on Cjjones's test. Hmm, I wonder if my score would change if I put I was 16 or something. (I'm really 12) I have the email if you want, I can forward it to ya. |
as Lisa said before, the lower your age and the higher score you have youre considered smarter than someone of an older age with the same score..so if you put a higher age on your test you will be considered...dumber..
