you could easily change that. i'm not gonna believe you got a 183. here's mine, and at least it's believeable.

Fine. Don't believe me. Just goes to show how much people trust you on the forums.
The whole test is crud though. It's really inaccurate. I took a real one and got 141.

Oh well. Just, don't believe me.
Back to my question from before. Does anyone's school make them take IQ tests? I doubt it, at least in the U.S., because the school board is all about making the kid "feel good" and "not hurt any feelings". That's why even if you get straight C's in our school, you still get into at least one advanced class. Sounds really dumb to me.

if youre gonna say that Killer, than you should say it to all of us since we couldnt all show proof...ticktock showed his proof (whether it was real or not) and so did all of us (i think)...so i can say that the "proof" that you showed is insufficient as well...so shut up and sit back

As earlier stated, I am heartily anti-IQ testing in public schools. If a child (or their parents) want the silly number label so badly they can go to a testing/learning center.
I don't think US public schools DO ENOUGH to make kids feel unique. Maybe if the government would properly equip/support educators, they'd have the will and where-with-all to actually *try* to make children feel good about themselves. It sure couldn't hurt.

No offense, and I'm not flaming, but I feel exactly the opposite.
My teachers rock. They may be strict, but they're awesome teachers. At least at our school, twice every month is a SIP(School Improvement) Day. Teachers occasionally go to meetings, sometimes halfway across the USA where I live, just to make our schooling better. Then they try out the new methods that they learned at school. They have weekly meetings with the other teachers of the grade level and other meetings in the conference room. Often they have to work from 7-5, a ten hour shift. Of course, they have their breaks, but can you imagine the amount of work they do?
In a poll, I don't remember where, teaching was voted as the #1 stressful job.

ticktock, why would you possibly feel the need to say you're not flaming?
I read nothing in your post that I could in any way, shape, or form take offense to. You are allowed your opinion--and frankly, it's QUITE a relief that you're happy with your education. That is very comforting, in fact. And unless you make a snide, personal remark against anyone (turn the debate in an inappropriate direction); you'll find no rebuke here. I'm never looking for a fight anywhere! *lol*
Some districts are better than others, no doubt. I didn't mean to imply that all schools are apathetic and take a hands-off approach to the student body.
I went to Sacramento High School. Things are a lot different there! *haha* There, the teachers fear the students...nothing has changed since 1994 when I was in my freshman year. I know, because my brother now attends... I can't write a more detailed explanation on my stance at the moment, but you're smart and can probably figure out where I was going with it, anyway.
Again, I'm glad that someone is doing their job somewhere.

I don't think that particular comment needed posting.

KC: You think he cares? He just posts whatever he wants. No need for rules for him..

Also, going to return to your old moderating position? I wouldn't mind some help
