Also half the dresses look like they should be on dead or alive extreme beach volleyball. if you dont get my meaning check out this reviewgames domain

The game does look a little like Lara Croft now, but it still has all of the old elements of a great FF game bluetongue.gif . All the summons, swords, bigger swords, mini games, the battle system, is virtually the same with a few tweaks. It does look a little like Lara Croft with the two guns, miniskirts, and jumping, but thats about it.
Loads of great screenshots here

The only thing that bugs me about this is, that they removed virually all of their clothes... If you want to look at stuff like that, search the net or buy a magazine, not a FF game screama.gif Other than that, it's sounds like a normal FF game...

If you look at the screen shots, its weird. In nearly every of screenshot there is they have a different set of clothes on. maybe for once in an FF game, every type of armor has a seperate look TheSmile.gif

Hey, at first I was sceptical with this aswell. . .but I found it's rarther like FFV because of the job/dress system. Also, I think we have our old favourite, the ATB system aswell! I've waited SO long for it's return. . . *More rambling going on*

ATB stands for Active Time Battle. its in FF7 and 9 i think maybe...... possibly......... anyway, its so that in a battle and your selecting an item or a summon or a spell to cast, the monster can't attack you. it is really really useful when searching thru ur lengthly item list for that last X-Potion.......

Half right, Gandalf.

ATB is time based instead of Turn based. By time based, I mean you nead your command bar to fill up before you act. This is used in FF6 - FF9 as far as I know, maybe even before.
Turn based is the system used before ATB in the earlier Final Fantasies. There is also something almost exactly like it (dunno the name, it's not 'turn based' as such) in FF10. To avoid arguments, I guess it's turn based but not turn based, y'know what I mean. . .? (I don't)

my PoV is different from all of you...i mean some things should change after a while...
i think yuna is 10000% better then her old traditional kimono self...and its also very nice that they have manage to revive the job class again[besides ffxi]
i'm really looking forward to the english release

ff8 junctioning seriously made the game too easy...
this game's very good thing is that you can access the whole game's storyline right from the start where you get celcius...
