If you notice any that are too large you can PM a super moderator about it, however having images in your signiture is not wrong, nor is a large signiture - as long as it doesn't distract too much from the thread. Again, PM a super moderator about if it is too bad.

And I think there should be a limit too.

There is a soft limit. It works fine. Only things that really bother me are the ones that stretch the page sideways. If that's the case I'll PM that member and ask if they'll resize it a bit. Otherwise, like Kimo said, PM a super mod about it if it's that bad. You can also turn sigs off in your control panel under board settings.

It's ok to revive old threads if you have something useful to add or genuinely wish to restart the discussion. In this case it wasn't necessary.

Though really this forum is inactive enough that this thread was still near the top of page 1. So, meh. ;P
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

What's so irrelevant about this revival?
Rather than create a topic saying he thinks there should be a sig size limit (or a stricter limit that actually gets followed, I guess) he replied in an old one saying he agreed. Seems fairly logical and on-topic to me, hehe.
