Organized War Within SeeD (Dragonman's Idea) Event idea (please don't move)

Hey everyone,
Dragonman has sent me an interesting idea for SeeD involving an ongoing organized war (within SeeD). This event would last at least a month and would allow for some actual (friendly) competition among SeeDs. It would be scored based on who is killed during this period, and some prize will be provided to the winning team.
My idea (just input): There would be two even teams that start with five members each (one is the commander). When the war begins, they can freely recruit SeeDs to fight on their side. Battles and tactics must be organized between each side, and any tactics may be used (even spies). Wins and losses must be recorded in a forum specifically for this, and one member (not on either side) will conduct the entire event. In the end, all tactics used must be explained and posted in the correct forum.
Possible Rules:
- No openly recruiting on the boards (can use messages though)
- All items won in battle must be returned to the previous owner
- No bribes or payments will be used for the purposes of this event (like trust tests or payments to join a certain side)
Other than that, we're still not exactly sure of how it will be conducted.
Anyway, please post your opinions regarding this event.

I'm voting yes, but I can foresee a few probloms. much of these probloms I pointed out in X Zolons "war Games" thread in suggestions and Ideas, but I'll repost the jist of it. Basicly, I think that copinition like this could poss a threat to the stability of SeeD and might generate some hard feelings. I think that this can be avoided if aproriate cautions are taken, but its something to be aware of. As I said I posed some concreit ways of dealing with this in the other thread. I think the recruiting could have a few probloms. say to great seeds were captins. someone might be forced to choose between their two best friends. I can see how this would be ok, but I also see how this could be bad.
I like it, just be careful

This suggestion is for SeeDs only. It goes like this, We have an event where theres a SeeD tournament. Gardens fight other Gardens. There's an elimination round, semi-finals, and finals. Whoever wins elimination round goes to semi-finals and the two teams that wins the semi-finals go to the finals. Like, Elimination Manathern Warriors | | | | | | | | |---------------Manathern Warrors | | | | | | | | | | Gladiators Balamb Garden | | | | | | | | | | |--------------- Templar Knights | | | | | | | | | | | | Templar Knights | | Trabia Garden | | | | | | | | |------------------ Trabia Garden | | | | | | | | | | Galbadia Garden | Roman Legion | | | | | | | | | |------------------Knights of Hyrule | | | | Knights of Hyrule Semi-Finals Manathern Warriors | | | |-------------------------------Manathern Warriors | | | Templar Knights Trabia Garden | | | |------------------------------Knights of Hyrule | | | | Knights of Hyrule Finals Manathern Warriors | | |------------------------------Manathern Warriors | | Knights of Hyrule If you die you get your things back. The board is just an example we might not win lol. Tell me what you guys think |

X Zolon:YES! ok, this is basically a little idea i thought up. now before you walk away with your "meh..."s and your "hes a madman! he'll kill us all!"s, let me explain. every month we should hold a war games training day. basically we split seed in half and get ready as if it were a war. everyone assumes jobs and prepares for a war. this will help to get uas in shape and prepare us for any upcoming conflicts. |

Dragonman565: Great idea X Zolon. I was discussing this Cspace before, and we came up with several ideas. Well, of course you (X Zolon) will be a general of one team. Then you choose a general for the other team. Then everyone chooses which team they want to be on. We have to make sure each team is even, though. Then each team can have a certain amount of time to prepare for the war, like make armor, weapons, etc. Each team would have to come up with strategies to defeat the other team. Cspace suggested that you have it for two months, so it's a two month long war, and suggested awarding points to each team each time they kill someone on the other team. And the number of points will be decided on their rank on their team in the war. what do you think X Zolon? |

I like this idea-it would really prepare people for war.
Also, there are some bonuses-
1. It might help some people with pking
2. It's fun!
We could have the teams like that.... and obviously, after the teams are recruited, we'll have to schedule times for "battles".
Overall, 10/10

*Hits no just to upset the results*
Nah, wudnt do that
Who would be the team leaders? And there must be some sort of way to get slighty equal sides (imaging all the >50's against all the <50's. It would be a massacre).
The team leaders would have the be similar in level, so no one has a huge advantage from the start. Also, they should be equal within SeeD (we dont want one guy who knows all the high levels recruiting them, so the less known/liked person gets all the rest).
