This has more than likely been proposed but I would like to bring it up again.
Back in the time of "RUNESCAPE" there were other things rather than coins. They had certs, litteraly. The dollars would say (at least American) "Silver Certificate" on it, which meant it could be traded for coinage made of silver, like pennies and quarters.
They should overhaul that into the game. You should be able to, at the bank, and general store, be able to trade GP for Certs.

Exchange:
What would you like?
Option A: Coins
B: Paper money
A= How many coins would you like? (and would trade out
like fish certs.)
B= How many currency certs would you like? (" ")
Examine: "Whatever it says"
The same would about apply to General Stores.
Here is the currency exchange:
1 Dollar = 100 GP
10 Dollars = 10,000GP
And so forth...
I think the exchange rate would be hard to work out so I am open to ideas. What do you think?

Well your exchange rate is a little bit wrong. If 1 dollar is 100Gp, then 10 dollars would be 1,000Gp.
I think that this wouldn't really have much of a purpose. You can hold an unlimited amount of money, so trading large amounts isn't much of a hassle, only time consuming. And JAGeX resolved that problem by the new trading system in RS2, where you select the amount of coins to trade.
This is a good idea, but doesn't have much of a purpose. It would be better if used on a different item, like an item which is traded in bulk, but takes up multiple slots for each multiple of it, like limpwurt roots for F2P.
