From rumours: We (Australians bluetongue.gif ) can preload Source on Monday, and we can actually play it on Wednesday! FUN FUN FUN!!!!!

The beta's BRILLIANT! Brilliant nades, lovely scope, good graphic (Except player model) nice sounds (Except footsteps) and overall... Brilliant! Except the only released map is dust bluetongue.gif

Anyway I downloaded it bluetongue.gif , though every time I connect to a server I get to precaching resources and then it locks up, anyone else has/had this problem?

Because you alt tabbed out of it, and you ruined it (Probably from your video card)

Though if I wait to long it freezes. And my video card is fine as I bought it with Doom 3 and it runs smooth.

Hmm, mine used to do the same thing, and all I had to do was cancel it a couple times, and join again. After a while, it started working.

Or you can do what everyone else does to solve a problem. Exit and logout of Steam and try again.
