Pick up little ornaments that the monsters drop and decorate Christmas Trees!
Surprise GM Events (December 14 - January 4)
gMS GM's will be holding surprise events throughout the Christmas season, but you'll need to figure out when and where (channel) they'll be holding for yourself! When an event is being held and you are on the channel that the event is on, you will be able to see a GM notice. When you do, head over to Orbis or Lith Harbor and look for Jean or Martin (NPC) to participate!
Charge-n-Recieve (December 14 - December 21)
Charge NX Cash at least once during the event period to go in the draw to win a pet! 25 users can win the following prizes:
Special Pet - 5 users
Brown Kitty - 10 users
Brown Puppy - 10 users

Upcoming Update - Pets
Introduction
Pets are the latest introduction to gMS, a cute little thing that always travels with you, whether it be a cat or a puppy or perhaps something more interesting? They can be around you just for decoration uses, but they can gain levels, wear equipment and level up just like you do! Who knows, maybe that cute little puppy can become your guard dog.
Bringing Your Pet to Life
A pet is not really a live animal. It is actually a doll brought to life by a nomadic magician in Henesys named Cloy. Cloy sprinkles the Water of Life extracted from Ellinia onto to pet dolls and animates them. Once the Water of Life dries up, an enchanted pet will turn back into a doll. To bring a pet back to life, one needs the Water of Life and a spell from Mar the Fairy.
To Raise a Pet
Throughout your adventures, your pet can become your best friend, accompanying you every step of the way. Pets have levels and their levels can be increased by raising the intimacy level with its master. To raise the intimacy level, pets can be commanded to perform an action such as "sit" or fed at opportune moments. Pets can perform a diverse range of actions that develop with commands that the master teaches them. Pets have been know to speak after some good nurturing.
Pet Inventory
Pets have their own set of pet inventory just like MapleStory characters. Through items in their inventory, pets can be equipped with accessories just for pets, such as hats and items that will enable them to pick up dropped mesos and item drops. Pets not only make you look good but also serve as useful companions in your adventuring.
All pets last for 90 days.
Pets are cash items, so sorry to those who can't get Maple Points *glares at OM*. But through the events, you might be lucky enough to get one!
