QUOTE (LootShare Adjustments)
Hey,

We have made a few adjustments to the way monster drops are distributed via LootShare.

The system still favours the player in the clan who has the most LootShare points, but a bit less so than it previously did. In the old system, the chances of getting a drop quickly deteriorated as you got further down the list, and it was very common that a small subset of all players in a big clan claimed a vast majority of the rewards while most people left empty-handed, even after several hours of fighting. This has now changed so that people further down the list have a greater chance of receiving drops, but there is still a noticeable difference compared to those with the most points.

Apart from this change in loot distribution, the system remains exactly the same as it did before.

We’d really like to hear your feedback on these changes once you’ve had a chance to try it out.

QUOTE (Auto-Retaliate update!)
We are releasing an update this afternoon to fix a problem players have been reporting with the Auto-Retaliate feature in combat.

This addresses the issue where it could take several clicks to get you out of combat and move away.

This update is only to fix this problem and nothing else is being changed.

Cheers,

dose this mean when a big drop comes it will go to the highet person (lootshare)"

---------------

The person with the highest LootShare points will have the biggest chance of getting the drop, but there is no guarantee, similar to how it was before.

Some more details on what has changed:

In the old system, it wouldn't matter how many people were in a group, the chances of getting a drop would remain constant if you had the highest LootShare points, but people only a few steps down the ladder would instead only have a fraction of a percentage chance of getting anything (we're talking chances along the lines of 0.00001%). In a small group, the new system is very similar to the old system--the chances of getting a drop if you have the most LootShare points have only gone down by roughly 15% in a three-man team.

The change will be most noticeable in so called masses, where there are a lot of people around to distribute chances to. But do note that the person with the highest LootShare points will always have a significantly higher chance of getting a drop than anyone else in the group, regardless of how big it gets.

As already stated by several players in this thread, the reduced chance of loot for the players with the highest LootShare points should, in the long run, be weighed up by the fact that they will be among the people who get the occasional drop while they are not on the top of the ladder. So you will still gain more by playing more.
