i got an assignment idea, we could have ppl try to get NEW members to join curvedspace, i suggest putting the mission to like 5-10 members. however in order to keep tract of this, cspace would need to make a referrel center, which will keep tract of a member's referrals to curvedspace. (if you dont understand cspace, i can give ya some examples)

anyways, once someone gets their number of referrals they get their little "reward" or tier.

hows it sound?
or any questions?

Well, in other forums I have been to, when you join, your asked to put in the username of the person who referred you to the forums (if you have been referred of course) and the person gets rep points.

Should we use that system?
(wyv btw)

People currently do put how they were referred, however to my knowledge it isn't set up to 'automatically' give points via a in-built system.

Such a system wouldn't really mean much. There's plenty of people that sign up for accounts, it's just that very few of those stay around and post. While recruitment is certainly necessary, anything along the lines of what you're saying should probably also include trying to motivate newbies to stay around, and making them feel welcome. Recruitment by itself doesn't accomplish all that much if nearly everyone registers then forgets about it.

Perhaps something along the lines of <insert number here> cinii / 2 (half for inviter and half for invited), but only if the invited person makes <x> posts and stays around for <x> days. Really anything could work, as long as the incentive is there.
