I thought this might be entertaining, and another debate that isn't so common or controversial as some of the stuff going on currently.

What do you think is the truth of the "Roswell incident" and Area 51?

Area 51 exists. Remember when everyone installed Google Earth here? And Cspace put the coordinates up? Maybe you don't, but it showed several air strips and hangers next to Groom Lake. bluetongue.gif
I think its where the United States tests and develop things that they don't want other nations or the public to see. Gives an edge, you know.

I think Rosewell was an accident on the U.S.'s part while trying to spy on the USSR. Government didn't want to admit to trying to spy on the Soviets. Anything they say about it isn't believed by people anyway.

People only believe in that stuff because they want to. They'll ignore all the evidence in the contrary, and pick and choose evidence to support their theories. The same applies to a certain institution, but I'll leave that to another debate. bluetongue.gif

oh yes, area 51 does indeed exist. there is an area around it that is closed to the public, sucha large area that you cannot see it. except for a select few spots where from time to time, average people watching the place have apperently cuaght glimpses of it. I don't know if that is really true, that info came from a discoverychannel or history channel program.

anyway, it exists. And I think that the whole Roswell thing is possible, but not neccessarily pluasible. The fact that the government seemed to be trying to cover it up does seem a little fishy.

I'm thinking that the US still uses area 51 as a test area and/or air base.

Area 51 is real and i will always believe it. The reason why most people don't believe in Area 51 is because it's a restricted area. As for the Roswell Incident, I don't if it was either a weather balloon or a real UFO. But I will always think of this....We are not alone. I will always believe that the truth is out there.
