QUOTE (25th March 2009 - Pre-purchase advice and more)
When it comes to great weapons and armour there is plenty of choice in RuneScape. In fact there are so many different items it’s sometimes hard to keep track of them all. This is why we are introducing the pre-purchase advice tool. Before you buy anything – from a shop, at the Grand Exchange, or from another player – you can now check out what the bonuses of the item are, and, in the case of worn items, whether there are any restrictions that might prevent you from wearing them. You can use this tool to find out what skills you need to train, and what quests you need to complete, to use a particular item.

Those of you who are in possession of a dragon platebody will see that it has undergone a graphical overhaul, as requested by you on the forums.

Next, we have made a change to the equipped inventory screen for Ranged weapons, so now you can see the ranged strength of weapons like javelins, arrows and crossbow bolts.

The fourth upgrade for this week will save you valuable seconds in times of need. The Prayer button near the minimap has undergone an overhaul so you can now set a prayer, or group of prayers, before you go into action, and activate or de-activate it with one click. The button will also indicate the loss of Prayer points by gradually fading out – similar to the behaviour of the Hitpoints button. This should help prevent you accidentally running out of Prayer points, and finding yourself suddenly vulnerable to attack.

As you may know, we recently made some changes to the Culinaromancer’s chest in Lumbridge and the gnome cuisine fruit ‘n’ veg shop in the Grand Tree. We have now reconsidered these changes, and have decided to implement a different approach: we have returned the shops’ stock prices to their former state, and have removed the option to sell stock back to those shops.

Finally, we’ve taken on board the feedback you gave us about last month’s quest list improvement, and made changes in response to some common issues. New text makes it clear when not all quests are shown, but the best improvements are behind the scenes: the options you set before you log out will be there again when you return, and we have greatly reduced the delay involved in switching the list between quests and achievements.

(Note: The option isn't functional yet)

Prayer issues:

We've now swapped around the prayers that were slightly confused as to whether they were members or free. The message is still slightly wrong but we're working on that at the moment.

Grand Exchange:

We're also looking into the issue with the grand exchange and not being able to see how much cash you have. This isn't a quick fix though but we'll see what we can do!

There are a slight few on the forums, but they're being hit with sharp forks and spoons. biglaugh.gif

QUOTE (Mod Luke)
The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. If you spot any further bugs in-game, please use the Bug Report feature ('Submit a Bug Report' under the 'Help' drop-down menu of the website).

Graphical

* The horns on dragon medium helms no longer float on female players. This was fixed alongside the dragon armour update.
* Fixed an issue amulets had when rendering with the dragon platebody.
* The imp chathead is no longer a human head in an imp suit – again!
* Stopped a zombie from playing a human animation that made it appear to explode briefly. Zombies in RuneScape have enough to worry about without an irrational fear of spontaneous combustion.
* Fixed a graphical issue with the light beams in the light maze from Mourning’s Ends Part II.

Quests

* Fixed an issue with the statues in Bandos’s Throne Room after completing the Chosen Commander.
* Slightly adjusted the logic in the final part of Chosen Commander.
* Fixed an issue with the Chosen Commander quest journal not scrolling to the end when completed.
* Your Magic interface will now be correctly restored after a certain point in Cold War.
* Changed code to prevent the game crashing in HD mode during the Underground Pass quest.
* Updated some of the Dragon Slayer code when you have to repair the boat.
* Enhanced logic for the One Small Favour quest when making a drink from several ingredients.
* Code dealing with Rantz and the Big Chompy Bird Hunting quest has now been properly fixed.
* Fixed a problem with the Back to my Roots end fight in Low Detail.
* In the Eyes of Glouphrie quest, Hazelmere was occasionally cutting the chat short mid conversation. This has been fixed.

Minigames

* Updated some arithmetic logic with Farmer Blinkin's Vinesweeper minigame.

Miscellaneous

* We’ve slightly adjusted the way you make darts.
* Bones can now be offered in varying quantities in the chapel in your Player-Owned House.
* Updated several of the chat menu interfaces to a newer format.
* Adjusted the newly re-written toybox code to better deal with male and female versions of clothing.
* The gnomecopters have been removed as we no longer wish to advertise certain members' content in the free area. As a result, the Lumbridge Achievement Diary task has been changed to reflect this. If you've already taken a ride on a gnomecopter, you won’t have to do the new task.
* The Lumbridge Achievement Diary no longer tries to open the old-style quest list.
* Prevented one particular object being given as a reward to free players in Random Events.
* Removed a safe spot from PVP worlds where players couldn't attack each other.

If that was serious, they do.

If that was sarcastic, they do.
