Many of us know there are several inactive forums within CurvedSpace. I know that Cspace doesn't like the idea of removing the forums entirely BUT I do have a suggestion (that's what this forum is for, right? bluetongue.gif). Shift these forums into more popular forums, create forums to place these forums in and/or shift the posts into a more general forum.

For example: The CurvedSpace Arcade, Quantum Star Command Center, Legend of the Green Dragon Hall, Nexus of Darkstorm and Clan Advertising could all be within a forum called CurvedSpace Games And Game Servers either as sub-forums or as a general topic.
Hosted Forums, Support Forums and SeeD Forums can turn into a forum rather than a category.

Despite the fact that I doubt that this will be introduced, the suggestion has been placed, and it will stay.

I can understand why you might say it could use some reorganising, there are things that could.

But what is the advantage towards setting the Hosted Forums, SeeD Forums etc. as sub-forums within a forum, rather than forums within a category? They're going to take as much room either way, but it's a bit easier to navigate them as they are now.

Deleting Members (SeeD or forums): Regardless of whether for statistical purposes or for the convenience of knowing who is active, we are not mass-deleting members (at least until a real problem arises with the server itself requiring otherwise, but I don't see this anytime soon). For statistics I can check other more detailed sources and quote them, and more would be lost than gained by just knowing who is active. More would be gained in the long run by having the door open for old members to return with their profiles and everything intact.

Good idea. Then, people would go into more active forums, see those sub-topics, and use them. TheSmile.gif

I'm against making any of the sections of the forums a board and making all the current forums within it sub-forums, but I'm sure some of this sort of thing could be done to help keep the place looking more neat and tidy. It is true that there's a lot of rarely used boards which could be turned into sub-forums around the place.
