All this for $220 after rebates, including shipping.

1 x Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 AM2 S754 S939 S940 2000RPM 36CFM Heatsink Fan
1 x Buffalo D2U667C-1G/BR 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667 CL5 240PIN DIMM Memory
1 x ECS GEFORCE6100SM-M2 V1.0A mATX AM2 GF6100 NF405 DDR2 PCI-E16 2PCI SATA2 Video Sound LAN Motherboard
1 x AMD Sempron 3000+ Processor Socket AM2 Manila 1.6GHZ 1600FSB 256KB L2 Cache 62W 90NM OEM No HSF
1 x Moneual Moncaso Dvt 201 G600 ATX Case 4X5.25 2X3.5 5X3.5INT 1X120MM No PS
1 x Moneual Moncaso PS1000-300W 300W ATX 24PIN Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan LED
1 x Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 160GB SATA Hard Drive 7200RPM 8MB OEM

I'm going to pick up a better PSU and a graphics card in about a month.
Eventually that little Sempron is going to turn into an Athalon 64x2. I'll have to see if the motherboard supports it though. If not I'll just go for the regular Athalon 64.

It's about damn time I got a new computer eh?

Do want!

Very nice. The LED fan makes it all worth it. thumb.gif

Yes, it is about time. See you in GW grnwink.gif .

If the motherboard is AM2, it should support an Athlon X2. I have a pretty simple mobo that runs my X2 just fine. My sister's PC has a Sempron 2700+, GeForce 6200, and 512MB RAM. It runs GW and similar-caliber games with no lag. You should be just fine.

It's an led fan? Well, I might just have to break out the dremel and make a plexiglass side for it.

I doubt GW will run on onboard graphics, but I'll probably try bluetongue.gif

Edit: I forgot the DVD/CD burner I already have, and the 160GB SATA harddrive I just bought.

Edit2: Yeah, it uses the AM2 socket. I wouldn't have gotten it if it didn't.

I have the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and that is similar to the Alpine i believe, might be getting confused, and that doesnt have a LED fan.

Quite a nice build seeing as you cant afford anything better, allthough the graphics card could be better but seeing as your upgrading that it doesnt really matter..

EDIT: NVM ignore the first comment, i was getting confused.

I have the 7300, and it runs GW, WoW, America's Army, etc. on high settings with ease.

>.< My graphics card is -built in- to the motherboard, so it can't be taken out and replaced. ... And it's complete crap. So I can't do anything to get a new graphics card other than get a new computer. Which will hopefully happen soon XD

Anyway, nice bluetongue.gif

Unless you have the Ghetto Mk IIV (PoS edition) motherboard you should be able to simply snap a video card into it. You might have to spend 2min configuring your bios if you're unlucky. Anyways, I have integrated graphics too, but I'll install a video card (NVIDIA 8600GT if I'm lucky) when I get money.
Chances are It'll be a while though. I want to buy a new PSU, a video card, RAM (4GB DDR2 800), and an Athalon 64 X2. In that order. After all that I'll have something that in the end costs me maybe $600USD and closely resembles the gaming monster I want.

Suck it, retail computer manufacturers bluetongue.gif

Anyways, It should all come in by the 5th.
And if anyone wants to give me a link to a good version of XP that I don't need a key for. Not only will I let you have my children, I'll give you something in return.
No, really, I'm not joking.

Edit: someone on another forum JUST delivered. Sorry guys. My heart belongs to one person only, and sadly it's a man. I really don't see how this is going to work out between us though. Unless he goes back in time and somehow becomes born as a female. Oh well biglaugh.gif
Anyways, much <3 to those who would have helped me. Even more with those who have both the ability and inclination to do so bluetongue.gif.
