How fun is Guild Wars? Should I wait to buy GW2 if I want to try it out or do I need the first one?

Go through the first one(s), that way GW2's storyline will make sense. It's an excellent game, I recommend all campaigns. Make sure you at least buy Prophecies.

I'm not a quest type person. So does GW have optional quests and stuff?

Yeah, there are a lot of optional quests, though you do have to do some quests to get to/unlock missions and their locations (more or less depending on the particular campaign; these type generally take you to the next location, directly or indirectly).

People can run you to the good stuff in Prophecies. That way you don't have to do a lot of the missions and quests.

Alright cool. So I'll go buy GW and play that for awhile once I get my new laptop. Thanks for the help.

You're welcome. Make sure you add Fish For God, I'm on sometimes.

According to your profile I'm usually on around 2-3am your time, give or take a little, so I dunno how much help I'll be to you, but my IGN is "Pantheo Parde". I can also add you to the DoA guild if you like once you've created a character (completely up to you).

If it's early morning time for Zoo, that should be a good time for me, then. So if you need help getting your Guild War's legs, let me know, and I will try my best to help. biglaugh.gif
