If we can imagine what will it be like in the next 3,000 years, it might come true. What do you think there will be in the next 3,000 years? borgsmile.gif

What if the technology in that game in 3'000 years time is like living in caves to us? o.0

The world will still be inhabited by humans. If any new race is introduced to the planet, it will be hunted/stalked/threatened/lynched by a whole new forum of literal racism. Any new form that tries to overtake the planet will be fought against until the human race is extinct. If that happens.

QUOTE(Calvin)
I think the surest sign that there's intelligent life elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

No other forms of aliens have tried to amass over the planet in the last however many years the planet has been here, I doubt they'll do it anytime soon. Alien apocalypse just doesn't seem a likely story for how the planet will end. Or humanity, at least.
--

I think other planets may be colonized, and that may even happen before we die. The moon is looking like a prime example for a place we can start to grow on, since we already have a space station. (Deep Space 9, anyone?)
--

Warfare may be enhanced greatly. With the advances we have now, there's no doubt in my mind people will be able to die and be brought back to life by full cybernetics. Take the brain and reconnect it to a lot of bells and whistles, you have a life again. With the enhancements in satellite power, (any of you who've played Gears of War know what I'm talking about) a Hammer of Dawn type weapon seems fully feasible.
--

Also, think "PM", but without a computer. I think communications may be improved to where a cellphone isn't needed to send messages or e-mail. We might just be able to do it from thinking it or saying it. Computer interfaces will be much better, and we won't rely on just a keyboard and mouse to interact. I think a whole new array of accessories will be introduced to use. Like.. Mini-stargates.
--

Stargates. Allow transportation over wide areas through entering a portal. There's no doubt in my mind that over the course of 3,000 years a small type of teleportation will be created. For human purposes at least.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Complete anarchy and chaos. Mutations in all the world's wildlife (both animals and plants) will have occured due to the vast amounts of toxic waste, and nature will reclaim the earth, killing people and tearing down buildings as if it has its own mind!
