I am just letting everyone know that the Great Library has more of a purpose than just to provide a background of Earthia. While it does not directly affect the forum RPG (the element chart has no effect at the moment either, remember that only the stated rules apply), they
do directly relate to the events happening here. It is
possible that things mentioned in the Great Library are intended to be quest starters (or required for their completion). The NPCs mentioned do not have to exist, however you can try to track them down (they may exist but are not mentioned anywhere on the boards, and may not even have a known name and must be referred to by other information). Also, if you mention certain topics to the right NPCs, you could receive an interesting response that could result in something nice for you or the game as a whole...
... And if you are interested in really thinking about the entries there, some of them may be pieces of larger puzzles. For example (these do not exist), you may find an interest in comparing a document named "Strange Materials for Magical Weaponry" and "The Secret Of The Dragon-Slayer's Sword". I have plans for a few longer and less obvious puzzles as well, and they will result in some nice things for either you or everyone's characters. The best stuff will be the hardest to find, and while the quests are generally obvious now, they will become more confusing later as everyone can get into the story a bit more. Also, remember that you can do almost anything in DStorm Online, and you do not have to base your actions entirely on quests or existent NPCs.
