Is it just me, or have gems become more common? Then again, maybe it's just because it's my first time really mining since I got my Ammy of Glory...

Out of 9 loads of coal, I've mined 2 saphs, an emmy, 5 rubies, and a diamond.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

MoS was telling me the same thing when he was mining. Sounds great, if ya' ask me. I say keep on mining, and report this to JAGeX (it may be a bug).

I think it says somewhere on tip.it that the Ammy of Glory (dragonstone ammy, I assume?) increases your chance of getting a gem on top of the rest of it...

Meh, gems have gotten a lot more common, even with the Amulet of Glory. In RS1 I would get like 5 gems per 500 coal, no I get like, 9 per 300 coal.. eek7.gif

I was getting 1 - 3 per trip earlier - a lot more than on rsc TheSmile.gif

It could be Jagex allowing an easier time making the new rings. Can't have rings when gems are hard to find now, can we?

Yeah, if your ring breaks, gems should also be a bit more common.

yes, that is why you see a lot of people wearing drag ammies while they mine in the guild.
