I'm not 100% sure they need it to eat, as the card only said drink. I could imagine that your's is still correct, though, but I was looking for a specific answer. I'm a nice guy, so I'll give both of you credit for it. The next few I'm going to post will be length scenarios with small twists in them.

VOLIX was volume 9. TheSmile.gif

28. Pete was killed because he wasn't as drunk and would be more likely to think of a good plan? Lisa wasn't killed because she was more drunk?

30. Both natives?

29.  I have 10 bags filled with 20 coins each that all look alike.  One bag is filled with all fake coins.  The real coins weigh 10 grams each and the fake coins weigh 20 grams each.  Using a scale which measures in grams, how can you determine which bag holds the fake coins with just one weighing. (Obviously you really don't need a scale to determine which one weighs twice as much, but lets pretend ya do. bluetongue.gif)
{lang:macro__view_post}

w00t, I know this...

You number all the bags 1 through 10. Then you get 1 coin out of bag 1, 2 coins out of bag 2, 3 out of bag 3, etc. Weigh the coins you've removed. If the coins were all real then it'd weigh 550 grams. But it'll weigh more. if it weighed 560 grams then the fake coins are in bag one, because there's only 10 grams difference, whereas if they were in bag 8, the weighing would come up with 630 grams...

19: Worded poorly. Water doesn't burn.
25: "Storm." The other words' letters alternate between consonants and vowels. Storm does not.
27: "Mind Trap Riddles: Part Two"
30: This riddle is worded misleadingly. It is not clearly stated which two people the question is asking about. Syntactically, it could be Ryl and Traver, Traver and Cspace, or Traver and Joise (whoever that is). Either way, however, there is not enough information to divine an answer because Traver is the only person that speaks.

19) Dealing with a liquid that undergoes a very rapid change of state, so it may effervesce at the temperature it had been in before, but it is now moving on. Though, i guess maybe not, would have to think about Newtons law of cooling more carefully.

25... Nope

27... its probably right, but I forget.

30... I think someone changed Ryl to Joise. Dunno why.

I have proof that 27 is right:

The words are encoded using a Caesar cipher. Meaning that all you have to do to decrypt the message is to cycle through the alphabet one letter at a time, for each letter, until the words make sense.

NJOE USBQ SJEEMFT: QBSU UXP

After one step of the decryption process, the message would become

OKPF VTCR TKFFNGU: RCTV VYQ

And you would continue on and on until you got it right. Thank god I worked backwards because the riddle maker used the last possible combination.

MIND TRAP RIDDLES: PART TWO <- Solution (Step 25, or Step 1 if you're me)
NJOE USBQ SJEEMFT: QBSU UXP <- Bare message
OKPF VTCR TKFFNGU: RCTV VYQ <- Step one
