I've never played it, but judging from sniper rifles in most games, I'd say slow reload rate and one-hit kills . . . or it could be a crappy firing rate.

The reload rate is pretty slow, and when you move the cursor, it flicks back some...

What to ask, what to ask...

Okay.

This game is from an earlier console. It involved knocking birdlike enemies out of the air without losing your two supports. It has been featured in many other games as a minigame.
